Logistics Specialist

Locations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the shipping and receiving of company and customer goods and supplies
- Arrange carrier pick-ups according to customers purchase orders and shipping instructions
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials and report defective materials or issues to the department manager
- Ensure the work area and equipment are clean, orderly, and safe
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Accurately sort, count, and verify items received
- Maintain a basic understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to quickly adapt to custom software platforms
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Relevant experience in shipping and receiving is preferred
