BUTTON HELP - Explanation of each button; consult this help page to learn the functionality of each button in the grid header.
DINSTINCT GAGE REPORTING
The default setting for this search page is to view only the latest calibration record for each gage.
View all calibration records.
Clicking this link will re-initialize the grid to display all records, not just the latest calibration records. This is handy if you want to view the calibration history of your gages.
View latest calibration records only.
Clicking this link will change the page to display only the latest calibration record in the database for each gage. This is handy for running reports where you only want to see one record for each gage; including Due and Overdue reports.

Gages Due
- You want to know what gages are due for calibration next month.
- Click the Search Button
- Specify your Cal Due date range in the form.
- Select "Between" from the drop-down list.
- Enter/select a start date and end date in the appropriate boxes.
- Click the Search button in the search criteria form to activate the change.
Gages Overdue
- You want to know what gages are currently overdue.
- Click the Search Button
- Specify the Cal Due date as today's date in the form.
- Select "Less than" from the drop-down list.
- Enter/select today's date in the appropriate box.
- Click the Search button in the search criteria form to activate the change.
EXPORTING YOUR DATA
Currently, downloading your database into Microsoft Access will require an additional step. You will need to save your displayed grid in Excel, HTML or XML format. Once the file is saved to your hard drive, you can import that file into Access. Importing capabilities may be limited based on your version of Microsoft Access.
IMPORTING INTO ACCESS
1) Save the data file.
...Select the location to you wish to save the file and specify the name of the file, then click Save. It is recommended to save the file to "My Documents" or "Desktop" to make it easy for you to locate the file when you attempt to import it into Access.
2) Import
NOTE: Exporting using XML is the preferred method for beginner Microsoft Access users.
NOTE: Data importing availablity and procedures may vary due to your version of Microsoft Access. Some versions of Access require you to open and save your downloaded Excel file before importing the data to Access.
CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
VIEWING YOUR CERTIFICATES
Each record of data in the grid will have a Cert Number associated with it. Click on the displayed Cert Number of the gage you wish to view. The certificate will open in a new browser window. You can scroll through the pages of multiple-paged certificates using the arrows at the foot of the window.
Searching PDFs
Within the PDF web browser plug-in is a toggle button that displays and hides a search text box with options. This funtionality is useful for locating a specific gage number within a multiple-paged certificate.
UPDATING YOUR GAGE INFORMATION
If enabled, you have the ability to modify much of the information displayed on our website yourself. Simply click on the Gage ID of the gage you wish to modify. A form will be displayed with the current information of the gage filled in for you. Once you make the desired modifications, click the submit button and the information will be saved to your website the database. These changes will apply to all records in your database with the selected Gage ID. Applicable certificates (15-characters certs that start with "C") will then be updated within 5 minutes of the change.
